Do I need digital marketing experience?No, MyCity Social performs all of the back-end work for all of the services offered. We would like you to have general knowledge on the different services offered and will provide training to get you up to speed.
What is the role of the franchise?Since My City Social completes the work for the customer, your role is to build a sales and service organization. We would like you to have at least one sales-person and one account management person as the initial staffing for the business. You will most likely assume one of those roles initially. As you start to grow your role will be that of a business manager running the business and providing ongoing training and support for your team.
What are the ongoing fees?* My City Social charges 30% of the billable services to perform all of the back-end work
* The royalty is 7% of the gross revenue which is collected monthly
* The advertising fee is 3% of gross sales and is collected monthly
How Big is the Territory?The territories are drawn up by county and will be comprised of a population of up to 1 million. For markets over 1 million, you have the option to pay an additional franchise fee for each additional 1 million population. This will give you the opportunity to own the entire market.
Where is the training?The training will take place at our headquarters in Orlando. It will last 2 weeks. You will be responsible for all costs including travel, lodging, and food.
What are my options for financing?Banks will provide a collateralized loan if you have property or other assets that you are willing to leverage as collateral. You also have the option of funding with your 401k. There is a special program that allows your 401k to invest in your business with no taxes, penalties, or interest. You still have a 401k and will have several options to divert money back to your retirement account. This is the easiest way to finance since there is no approval process. We can introduce you to a company who can assist you with this option if you would like to explore further.
